Looking like 2025 is going to be my year of systems. I was exposed relatively young but never formally, and was fortunate to encounter second-order cybernetics fairly early.

I've watched at least one or two of these before, and appreciated just being pointed to some of the other people who have been featured. The big thread which could be part of my life for the next dozen years or so is UnCertainty, as the years 2027-2036 represent a decade-long centenary of science's discovery of its own limits at some fundamental levels. Once you're dealing with uncertainty, you need systems. Systems thinking, whole systems, systems design, systems engineering, living systems, and Is there another term embedded in so many other terms which is so hard to understand itself? Design and life are likely contenders! Vs. the more recent slow ___, regenerative ____, etc.)
